Australia's housing market experienced an increase in February.
Australia's CoreLogic Home Value Index increased by 0.7% in February 2026, showing a slight decrease from the 0.8% growth recorded in the previous month. Price appreciation remained robust in Brisbane (1.6% compared to 1.4% in January), Adelaide (1.3% compared to 1.3%), and Perth (2.3% compared to 1.9%), while values remained stable in Melbourne (compared to 0.2%) and Sydney (compared to 0.3%). Nationally, home values saw a year-on-year growth of 9.6%, down from 10.2% in January.
